VMC Club
Learning through the experiences of others.
What is VMC Club?
Pilots who want to sharpen their skills have a great opportunity through the EAA Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) Club. These clubs are designed to help pilots build proficiency while flying under visual flight rules (VFR).
EAA Chapter 839’s VMC Club hosts monthly meetings where pilots can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Each session features real-world flying scenarios to spark discussion and promote the free exchange of ideas. The goal is to foster a strong, supportive pilot community—one that values safety, communication, recognition, and continuous improvement.
By participating in the VMC Club, pilots gain confidence in handling various VFR situations and ultimately become more skilled and knowledgeable aviators.

Our meetings are held in the Chapter Hanger at Pegasus Airpark.
