Educational Workshops

Hands-on learning for our young aviators.

Young Eagle Workshops

The EAA's Young Eagles Workshops program provides an opportunity for local Chapters to offer youth, of school age (approximately 11 to 17), an opportunity to learn about aviation in a social setting at a local airport. EAA Young Eagles Workshops can be a one-day or a multiple day experience geared to introduce kids to the basic elements of airplanes and aviation.

Through various classroom-style learning and hands-on activities, EAA Young Eagles Workshops provide emotional, creative, social, and educational growth to kids with mentorship from EAA chapter members. These workshops focus on specialized aviation content and materials to help kids embrace aviation as a potential recreational or career path as they mature.

Young Eagles Workshops are a logical "next step" for  kids that have taken a Young Eagles Flight, and are looking to pursue thier interest in aviation.

Please visit the Events Page to see when our next Young Eagles Workshop is scheduled.
